CS2 Inferno Smoke Guide

10 powerful smokes to dominate Inferno, whether you’re taking A, B, or holding control.


1. CT Arch Smoke

  • Purpose: Cut off rotators during A take
  • Lineup: T Ramp by the car
  • Aim: Above the roof edge near the power cable
  • Throw: Jumpthrow

2. Library Smoke

  • Purpose: Block Library AWPer for Short/Aps push
  • Lineup: T Mid, close to hay cart
  • Aim: Top corner of chimney
  • Throw: Normal throw

3. Moto Smoke

  • Purpose: Helps wrap A site from Short
  • Lineup: Same as Library lineup
  • Aim: Slightly lower — between arch and roof
  • Throw: Normal throw

4. Coffins Smoke (Banana)

  • Purpose: Block Coffins during B entry
  • Lineup: Banana logs
  • Aim: Over the tree leaves
  • Throw: Jumpthrow

5. CT Spawn Smoke (Banana)

  • Purpose: Smoke off CT from Banana for clean site entry
  • Lineup: Stand at bottom of Banana wall
  • Aim: At antenna tip above spawn
  • Throw: Jumpthrow

6. Pit Smoke (Short Entry)

  • Purpose: Flush out Pit player
  • Lineup: Short corner
  • Aim: Top of Pit wall near arch
  • Throw: Normal throw

7. Construction Smoke (B Site)

  • Purpose: Block off site re-aggression
  • Lineup: Back of Banana
  • Aim: Right edge of roof
  • Throw: Jumpthrow

8. Boiler Smoke (Anti-Aggro)

  • Purpose: Stop CT Boiler peek early round
  • Lineup: T Ramp
  • Aim: Above second floor window
  • Throw: Normal throw

9. Second Mid One-Way

  • Purpose: One-way near T Aps push
  • Lineup: Throw at broken box corner
  • Throw: Underhand throw

10. Banana Close Smoke (CT Side)

  • Purpose: Deny early Banana control
  • Lineup: CT Car position
  • Aim: Just above sandbags
  • Throw: Jumpthrow
